Dr. Roy G. Bassett is a primary care physician board-certified in family medicine and general dentistry. He is a member of the United States Army and served three tours in Iraq with Infantry, Airborne, and Special Forces. He currently serves as the State Surgeon for the Florida Army National Guard.
Dr. Bassett earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Mississippi State University. He then attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree before turning his attention to LSU’s School of Medicine and earning his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. He completed his residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando.
He is affiliated with several hospitals and has extensive experience in private practice.
