She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico and medical school at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in the Dominican Republic. In addition, she holds a Master’s in Business Administration. As a bilingual provider, Dr. Hernandez Cabrera works to remove language and access barriers by focusing on listening, education, and advocacy. She practices whole-person, relationship-based medicine, prioritizing clear communication, shared decisions, and coordination across the care team. She takes the time to learn what matters most to her patients, involving caregivers when appropriate, and ensuring every patient leaves with a plan they truly understand and feel confident following.
