About Me
Dr. Yee is married and has three sons and one daughter. She began in private practice in Ontario, Canada in 1992, before moving to Davenport, Florida, in 1999, and opening her own practice once again, quickly becoming a primary care physician in Davenport FL that the local residents could turn to. Dr. Yee received her medical degree from the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Canada, after earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She completed her internship/post graduate training at Toronto East General Hospital in Ontario, Canada. She is board certified with both the Canadian College of Family Physicians of Canada as well as the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Yee began in private practice with a focus on the senior population. “It took some nurturing,” she said, “but as I have grown up with my patients, some I have known when I first started 22 years ago, it has given me insight, and I find it rewarding to aim for Better Health with this population.”
As a board certified family physician and primary care physician in Davenport Florida, she treats a broad spectrum of medical problems ranging from cosmetic to weight loss issues. She treats in patients at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in addition to her office based practice, staying highly involved in the community, helping others as much as she can.
