Laura Costa completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University and is currently licensed in multiple states. She has experience working in specialties including orthopedics, medical/surgical, pediatrics, and ER. Along with practicing medicine, Laura has been a nursing instructor at FORTIS College, helping to teach future registered nurses. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American College of Nurse Practitioners, the Emergency Nurse Association, and the Florida Nurse Practitioners. Laura is excited to be part of the VIPcare team and to develop steady relationships with her patients. “I believe the key to building relationships with patients is through strong communication,” she said. “I am compassionate to individual concerns and encourage patients to ask questions, know their medical needs, and understand their individual treatment plans,” she said. In her free time, Laura enjoys spending it with her family and going out with her husband on their Harleys and in their Corvette to various functions. She also enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and watching the Green Bay Packers.
