Dr. Marc Guerrier is a highly skilled and compassionate board-certified Internal Medicine physician with extensive experience providing exceptional care to his patients. He earned his undergraduate degree from Howard University, graduating magna cum laude and achieving membership in the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa and Golden Key National Honor Society. Dr. Guerrier went on to attend the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Coral Gables, FL, where he graduated as a distinguished “Millennium graduate” in 2000. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Guerrier is able to connect with a wide range of patients, fostering trust and understanding in his care.

After medical school, Dr. Guerrier relocated to Washington, D.C., where he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Washington Hospital Center, a renowned Level 1 Trauma Center affiliated with Georgetown University Hospital. He finished his residency in 2003, gaining invaluable experience at one of the largest and most respected hospital networks in the region, MedStar Health. Since 2008, Dr. Guerrier has been dedicated to providing outstanding care to the Lakeland community.

Johanna Johnson was born in New Jersey but relocated to Florida in 2004. She completed her Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees at Polk State College continued her studies at the University of South Florida where she graduated at the top of her class with her Master of Science in Nursing degree. Johanna has a passion for helping people achieve and maintain their best possible health. Prior to transitioning into primary care as a nurse practitioner, she worked as the charge nurse on a medical-surgical-telemetry unit at a local community-based hospital. Johanna maintains membership in Sigma Theta Tau, nursing honor society, and the prestigious Phi Kappa Phi honor society. She is also a member of the Polk County Advanced Practice Nurses Association.

“I wouldn’t want to do anything else,” she said. “I love getting to build relationships with my patients, and they really do become part of the family. They’re not just another patient.” In her spare time, Johanna enjoys any type of outdoor activity, reading, and spending time with her husband and daughter at Disney.
