Dr. Samuel Defigarelli is a family medicine physician with more than six years of experience caring for patients. He earned his undergraduate degree from San Diego State University before attending the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts. He completed his residency at Louisiana State University. Dr. Defigarelli was drawn to medicine by his curiosity and love of science, but what he enjoys most about practicing medicine is the opportunity to establish and maintain meaningful relationships with his patients. He believes great healthcare starts with getting to know the person behind the diagnosis. His care philosophy is centered on empathy, trust, and individualized care. Dr. Defigarelli understands that every patient is different, and he takes the time to adapt his approach to each person’s unique needs, concerns, and goals. His goal is to work alongside his patients to help them feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their healthcare journey. In his free time, Dr. Defigarelli brings a curious and energetic personality to everything he does. He enjoys exploring new interests and is always ready to start something new.
