About Me
Dr. Ehrmann attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, earning a bachelor’s degree in biology. At that point in his life, he was still unsure of his destined path and what part of medicine he wanted to pursue. As a result, he decided to join the military as a member of the U.S. Navy to explore his options. Dr. Ehrmann served his country in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. He finally found his way to medical school during that time, earning his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Services in Bethesda, MD. After retiring from the U.S. Navy while practicing as a staff physician at the Naval Hospital in Pensacola, he spoke with with former Navy physician colleague and VIPcare provider Dr. Amy Reed and decided VIPcare was where he wanted to continue practicing medicine. “The exam room is my sanctuary, and being in there with people and the fact that they trust you and allow you into their lives is really special,” Dr. Ehrmann said.
