About

Catherine Bennett is a board-certified Adult-Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She earned her master’s degree in nursing education with a focus on critical care from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. She went on to receive a post-master’s certificate in Adult Gerontological Acute Care from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA.

Her academic appointments have included the Technical College of the Lowcountry in Beaufort as Program Faculty, Nursing Alpha Delta Nu Faculty Advisor, and Nursing Advisory Board.

 

Throughout her career, which spans over 22 years, Catherine has held numerous nurse practitioner roles in both acute inpatient and outpatient care environments. Her experience in hospital settings includes the Level 1 Trauma Center – Emergency Department of Greenville Health System. She also maintained a private practice, Bennett Medical Clinic, LLC, in Ridgeland, SC, from 2017 to 2020. 

 

In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with the local Cub Scout Pack 436, dabbling in photography and art, and spending time with her daughter at Disney.
