About Me
Juliann Dwares is a certified nurse practitioner specializing in general medicine. She earned her education at Florida International University and completed her clinical rotation at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami, Florida. Juliann was drawn to a career in medicine because of her desire to help people. She loves taking the time to talk with her patients, answer their questions, and help them better understand their health. She believes that when patients are informed, they feel more confident and in control. That’s why she makes it a priority to clearly explain the benefits of preventive care and guide patients in making decisions that are right for them. Her approach is rooted in relationship-based medicine — listening carefully, understanding each patient’s unique circumstances, and partnering together in healthcare decisions. Juliann is known for being a thoughtful listener, following through on her commitments, and building trust with those she serves. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the dog park with her two chihuahuas, dining out with friends and family, bicycle riding, taking brisk walks, and looming hats.
