Luis G. Martinez, MD

Dr. Luis Martinez is a highly skilled physician with over 30 years of experience. He earned his medical degree from Costa Rica University and completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Gynecologic Surgery at Detroit/Macomb hospitals affiliated with Henry Ford in Michigan and SUNY Brooklyn in New York. From an early age, Dr. Martinez knew he wanted to be a doctor. He prides himself on being a strong diagnostician, combining his extensive medical and surgical experience to provide comprehensive care. For Dr. Martinez, the most rewarding aspect of practicing medicine is the relationships he forms with his patients and the communities he serves. He believes in practicing medicine the "old-fashioned way," where bedside manner, empathy, and genuine understanding are just as important as medical expertise. In his free time, he enjoys horseback riding, training and showing horses, fishing, and boating. And, most of all, spending time with family.
