About Me
Dr. Tayyaba Tariq is a board-certified family medicine physician with 20 years of experience providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She completed her early education at FG College Islamabad and earned her medical degree from Fatima Jinnah Medical University. She went on to complete her residency training at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Tariq was inspired to become a physician by the noble purpose of caring for humanity. She believes the kindness and compassion of a trusted physician can have a profound impact on a person’s life. What she enjoys most about practicing medicine is the combination of meaningful patient interaction, thoughtful clinical decision-making, and the opportunity to truly improve her patients’ quality of life. Dr. Tariq focuses on trust, consistency, and respect—ensuring her patients feel heard, valued, and actively involved in their care. She also believes in including family members and caregivers when appropriate to promote continuity and support. She emphasizes preventive care through education, helping patients understand their health risks, stay up to date on screenings and vaccinations, and develop realistic goals that support lifelong health. In her free time, she enjoys early morning walks in the park, visiting farmers markets, watching movies, listening to music, and learning new cooking recipes.
