About Me
April Connell is a Certified Nurse Practitioner with 23 years of experience in the medical field. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has been a practicing nurse practitioner for 17 years. It was her desire to help others that pushed April to pursue a career in nursing. She has a passion for encouraging patients to take ownership of their health and educating them on ways to live a healthier life. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family on the lake and cheering for her daughters on the volleyball and basketball courts. She is an active member of First Baptist Church Centre and serves as a youth leader for high school girls.
