About Me
Laverne Barnes, APRN-FNP, is a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner with 26 years of experience. She completed her medical education at Tulsa Community College and Community General in Syracuse, N.Y., and is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Laverne’s passion for medicine stems from her deep concern for humanity and her desire to provide care that goes beyond physical healing. Her goal is to leave every patient in a better state—whether physically or emotionally—after each interaction. She finds immense fulfillment in hearing her patients say, “I am doing so much better.” In her free time, she enjoys decorating Christmas trees, cooking, watching hummingbirds, and listening to music.
