About Me
Dr. Stella Heredia is a dedicated general medicine physician with over 23 years of experience. She completed her undergraduate studies at Universidad Nacional de Colombia and earned her medical degree from Universidad Libre de Cali. She went on to complete her residency at HIMA San Pablo in Puerto Rico. Dr. Heredia finds great fulfillment in helping others and values both the intellectual challenges of medicine and the meaningful relationships she builds with her patients. She believes that knowledge is one of the most powerful tools in healthcare. By explaining medical information clearly and offering practical, personalized guidance, she empowers her patients to make informed decisions and take an active role in improving their overall quality of life. Listening is at the heart of Dr. Heredia’s approach. She prioritizes empathy, open communication, and mutual trust, ensuring every patient feels heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. She actively involves patients in setting realistic health goals and developing personalized care plans that address both physical and mental well-being. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Central Florida by kayaking, visiting natural springs, hiking parks and nature reserves with family and friends, and participating in wildlife and eco-tours.
