About Me
Dr. Stephan Seecharan is a board-certified primary care physician. He was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. He won one of fifty academic scholarships out of a total of 25,000 students and used the scholarship to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. After completing medical school in Trinidad, Dr. Seecharan worked in Orthopedics and Internal Medicine. He then relocated to the United States and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital program. Dr. Seecharan worked in Miami in a private clinic for two years. In his free time Dr. Seecharan enjoys playing soccer, running occasionally and experiencing the outdoors. For the past nine years, Dr. Seecharan has been caring for patients in Ocala. He loves Ocala and believes it is a great place for his young family. Unfortunately for Gator fans, he is still a University of Miami Hurricanes supporter!
