About Me
Dr. Tonya Nichelle Hollinger is a compassionate family medicine physician dedicated to helping her patients live healthier, more fulfilling lives. She earned both her undergraduate and medical degrees from Vanderbilt University before completing the St. Vincent’s Family Medicine Residency program in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Hollinger finds the greatest reward in knowing she’s made a difference—whether that means helping a patient feel physically better or giving them the tools to take control of their health. Her focus is on reducing the impact of chronic conditions, preventing or delaying new ones, and supporting each patient’s best possible quality of life. She believes healthcare works best as a partnership, with patients actively involved in making informed decisions. While she follows evidence-based guidelines, Dr. Hollinger recognizes that every person’s goals and needs change with time. “It’s never a one-size-fits-all approach,” she says. “My goal is to provide knowledge, guidance, and support so patients feel confident in the choices we make together.” In her free time, Dr. Hollinger enjoys visiting art galleries and historical sites, where she finds inspiration and appreciation for creativity and history. She also loves gardening—especially growing tomatoes, okra, eggplant, leafy greens, and herbs—and sharing her harvest with friends.
