About Me
Dr. Vanessa Seiglie Quinones is a board-certified physician dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez and went on to attend medical school at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Mayaguez Medical Center. Dr. Seiglie Quinones was inspired to pursue a career in medicine after experiencing the compassionate care of her own primary care doctor and spending cherished time with her grandparents. Those experiences fueled her passion for caring for older adults and her desire to provide that same level of comfort and support to others. She finds deep fulfillment in making a positive impact on her patients’ lives while embracing the continuous learning and intellectual challenge that medicine brings. Dr. Seiglie Quinones believes the best care comes from working together as a team and building strong relationships with her patients. She takes the time to get to know each person beyond their medical needs, learning about their lives and what’s important to them. She focuses on prevention and enjoys helping patients understand how simple screenings and healthy habits can make a big difference in staying well and feeling their best. In her free time, Dr. Seiglie Quinones enjoys volunteering with organizations such as Rethreaded and Animal Care Protective Services. She also loves practicing yoga, biking, dancing, traveling, and continually learning new things.
