About Me
Dr. Veronica Cordero is a primary care physician originally from Puerto Rico. She attended the University of Puerto Rico for her undergraduate studies and earned her medical degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo. She completed a rotating internship at Hospital de la Concepción in San German, Puerto Rico. “When I was a student, I worked with one of the smartest doctors I’ve ever met, and he told me once that to be a good doctor, you need to stay up to date with the medical knowledge, so I’m always open to learn more and expand my own knowledge,” she said. “I never take the opportunities and challenges that this field offers for granted. Every one of them is a learning experience and an opportunity to grow.” Dr. Cordero not only enjoys helping her patients achieve a better quality of life, but she loves being a part of their lives. “They will always have a special story to tell, and those inspire me and give me the motivation to try to be a better doctor every day,” she said. She strives to help her patients accelerate recovery and achieve Better Health through preventative medicine. “I enjoy being able to explain medicine to my patients in a simple way so that we can work as a team and achieve a better quality of life for them,” she said. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, visiting new places, participating in extreme sports, and reading about medical science.
