Richard Bucco, M.D.

Dr. Richard Bucco is a dual board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine. He holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Vanderbilt University with a postdoctoral research fellowship in reproductive endocrinology. 

Dr. Bucco was a member of the United States Army and Army National Guard, where he earned a Presidential Service Citation, among other military honors.

He has served as medical director for several medical clinics within northern Alabama, in addition to the chief medical officer of Bradford Healthcare Inpatient Hospital.

In his free time, he enjoys mixed martial arts, poetry, painting, sketching, house restoration, and spending time with his wife.
