We have a new provider who has joined Dr. Vipin Patel at our Ormond Beach primary care clinic. Meet Dr. Jola Tombarkiewicz! Dr. Tombarkiewicz, or Dr. T as she often refers to herself as, is a board-certified primary care physician specializing in Internal Medicine. She has almost four decades of experience practicing medicine and has loved every minute of it.
Take a moment to learn a little bit more about Dr. T and what she has to offer her patients.
Who is Dr. Jola Tombarkiewicz?
Originally from Poland, Dr. T grew up knowing she was destined to be a doctor.
“There were already few doctors in my family, so this influenced me,” she said. “Also, I am an empath, so I always want to help others. No other professions were not an option.”
You have two options in Poland after high school for continued education – trade or University. Dr. T chose the University and spent the next six years in medical school training. After graduating from medical school at Silesian University, Dr. T began working as a pediatrician. Her goal was to stay in Poland and continue in pediatrics, but she said God had other plans.
She was offered a spot in a double program in Miami, FL, at Jackson Memorial Hospital. It was an opportunity she couldn’t resist.
Over the years, Dr. T’s medical knowledge and use have expanded to include many alternative methods, including oriental medicine, acupuncture, yoga, Reiki, and Pranic Healing.
“Acupuncture has been described by the Chinese about three thousand years ago and works because it utilizes its own body energy system,” she said. “So, if or when a disaster strikes, like the hurricane in Florida, then what? I teach that we have the smartest physician for FREE inside and no side effects.”
She loves educating her patients on ways they can self-heal using what God has given them.
“I would not do to my patients what I would not do to myself or my family,” she said. “I grow and change as life changes, as the food industry changes the food. I help patients to select the God-made food vs. man-made for the best results.”
