VIPcare has exciting news coming out of Cape Coral. We’re proud to introduce you to Natalya Korneyeva, APRN. Natalya is the newest provider to join our primary care clinic in Cape Coral.
Natalya Korneyeva is a world traveler and comes with much experience. She has continued to advance her medical career in an effort to provide her patients with the best possible care.
Who is Natalya Korneyeva?
Growing up, Natalya was constantly surrounded by conversations and activities involving facts, numbers, data, brainstorming, and analyzing various ideas to create solutions and solve problems. Her father was an engineer and her mother an accountant. This fostered a passion for math and science; however, growing up in Russia and getting to live abroad, Natalya developed a love for the arts.
“Living in Nigeria for a couple of years where my dad was employed in the construction of the steel manufacturing facilities enabled me to develop a deeper sense of appreciation for different cultures and foreign languages,” she said.
It was that appreciation that initially won out. Natalya earned a master’s in the arts and became a teacher of foreign languages. But upon her arrival to the states in 1999, she decided to go back to her “roots” and pursue an education in science.
She earned her nursing degree and began her career as a registered nurse at one of the busiest hospitals in Connecticut, Yale New Haven Health. While working at the hospital, Natalya experienced much human pain and suffering and desired to do more.
“I was always searching for ways to improve patient care outcomes and the quality of life for my patients,” she said.
This pushed her to further her education and advance her career by becoming an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN).
The Path to VIPcare
As a child, Natalya’s family had a vacation home on the Black Sea. She spent her summers walking the beach, collecting seashells, and swimming in the ocean. These fond childhood memories led Natalya to leave Connecticut and relive some of those memories in Florida. This ultimately guided her to VIPcare.
“I was drawn to VIPcare because I choose quality over quantity,” she said. “VIPcare utilizes a different health care model, which enables providers to focus on the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive patient care, which can be challenging in many healthcare environments given high patient volume and time constraints.”
Natalya is excited to be combining her love for science with her desire to make a difference in people’s lives. And she couldn’t think of a better place to be doing it than with VIPcare.
