VIPcare is continuing to grow, and we couldn’t be more excited! We are proud to introduce you to one of the newest members of our health care team, Dr. Brian Earley. He has recently joined our team at the Leesburg clinic.
Dr. Earley is a family physician with over 20 years of experience practicing medicine. He brings a wealth of knowledge to VIPcare and is excited to start building his new family of patients.
Who is Dr. Brian Earley?
Dr. Earley was raised in Tucker, GA, just outside of Atlanta. His father was a physician, so it was pretty natural that medicine would be the direction he went in; however, it almost wasn’t.
Growing up, Dr. Earley wanted to be an engineer and began college down that career path. But by his junior year, he was ready for a change. “I quickly realized that engineering was a lot of talking to computers and not much talking to people,” he said. “I wanted to work in a field that centered more on human interaction.”
It was his father who encouraged him to explore primary care, specifically family medicine. A field that quickly became his calling. “I wanted a job where I could talk to people and also where I felt like I was making a difference,” Dr. Earley said. “I love that every day is different. I love that because the patients themselves are so different it makes my day exciting every day.”
Dr. Earley’s Transition to Medicine
Dr. Earley spent his early years in medicine teaching at a residency level. He then transitioned to a family practice setting, relocating and starting a new clinic in Melrose, FL. From there, Dr. Earley started a residency program at Ocala Regional Medical Center, where he served as the inaugural director. A role he said he thoroughly enjoyed but one he was ready to retire from so he could get back to full-time patient care.
Thanks to two of his former residents, Dr. Earley was introduced to VIPcare, a place that he said allows him to give care to patients the way he wants to be able to provide care – all centered on quality time.
“When patients are in the room with me, they are my first priority,” Dr. Earley said. “I really want to get to know them as a person. I love learning about my patients and hearing their stories.”
